Restlawn was started in 1971 by Larry J Chedotal. It is comprised of 30 acres and is considered to be a memorial park, with 10 separate burial gardens, cremation lots, a section of lawn crypts, a garden of honor, a Vietnamese section and of course our mausoleum.

Restlawn has always been family owned  & operated. Larry J Chedotal, Jr was just promoted to President of the company with his son, Ryan tight on his heels.

The Chedotals’ also own Natchez Trace Funeral Home, Memorial Park Cemetery & Crematory out of Madison, MS, along with Rose Hill Cemetery in Tampa, FL.

Restlawn Park & Mausoleum is a Perpetual Care Cemetery. What this means to the consumer is with each purchase made, a portion of the proceeds will be put into an Irrevocable Perpetual Care Trust Fund to guarantee that your property will be maintained eternally.

Restlawn Park & Mausoleum was the 1st cemetery with a Garden of Honor. We take pride in honoring all of our veterans with all the dignity they deserve. Restlawn Park & Mausoleum was also the 1st to have a Memorial Day Service. Each year we have a special service for MEMORIAL DAY and ALL SAINTS DAY. For additional information on these two events, please click the “Special Services” tab. (Coming Soon).
